Today, a collaboration and a deal has been revealed between Netflix and Valve to produce an anime series based on the popular Dota game series called DOTA: Dragon's Blood. This series consists of 8 episodes and will air on March 25th. It is being worked on by the Korean company, Studio MIR, responsible for The Legend of Korra, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge.

The series will highlight the stories of a number of characters in the game, such as Dragon Knight Davion and Princess Mirana. The responsible for the production of this anime is Ashley Edward Miller, who confirmed that the players and fans of the series will be pleased with what this anime will present to them and how the creators were able to imagine the world of Dota 2 and weave an epic and emotional story within which its heroes are characters who have always loved the game. She also promised them that the acting, music and cinematography would be of a high standard and thanked Valve for their support in this project.

This comes as the network continues to work on the second season of the series The Witcher, whose success has been a major reason, without a doubt, in converting many games into works of art in the coming years. Netflix is working on a second series, The Witcher: Blood Origin, which is supposed to precede the story of the first season of The Witcher.
